Kelp is a mineral-rich food that helps to support healthy immune function as well as skin & coat health. In addition to containing iodine, iron, & many other beneficial vitamins, kelp also aids in the removal of tartar & plaque for improved dental health.

Commercial diets already contain iodine & iodine is also found in other food such as eggs, shellfish, fish, kefir, & goat’s milk. Recommended intake varies based on weight, diet, & other medical conditions. Please consult your veterinarian before introducing new supplements into your dog’s diet. We do not recommend kelp for dogs undergoing treatment for hyperthyroidism or in pregnant & lactating animals.
